Chen Huirong and Chen Jun, a renowned father-son chef duo in China, jointly inherit and innovate the essence of Huaiyang cuisine with their exquisite skills and deep culinary passion. Mr. Chen Huirong is a recognized master of Huaiyang cuisine in China, serving as a World Association of Chefs Societies judge due to his exceptional culinary artistry. His culinary philosophy stems from a deep appreciation for family reunions, believing that a meticulously prepared family feast can warm hearts and inspire people to embrace the new year. Therefore, he consistently insists on using the freshest ingredients, combined with superb techniques and the wisdom of time, to present diners with the taste of home.
Influenced by his father, Mr. Chen Jun learned Huaiyang cuisine from a young age and, at 15, traveled to Guangdong to delve into the refined techniques of Cantonese cuisine. He infuses the unique flavors of Cantonese cuisine into the 'fresh,' 'crisp,' and 'tender' qualities of Huaiyang cuisine, enriching this classic culinary style with more layers and vitality.
Following the success of 'Jiangnan restaurant,' the Chen father-son team has once again joined hands to launch their new venture, 'Zhiwei.' Continuing the concept of 'mother's kitchen,' 'Zhiwei' will focus on Hangzhou cuisine, blending the warmth of home-style dishes to bring diners a familiar and touching taste.
